How this check works
When an owner saves a bar in FiLot, FiLot makes a one-way fingerprint of what is stamped on it: brand, weight, purity and serial number. Every night FiLot checks for new or changed records; when there are any, all fingerprints are combined into one code that is written on the Solana blockchain, where nobody can change or backdate it. This page recomputes the fingerprint from the bar’s details, follows it to the code it was sealed in, and reads that code from Solana itself.
