The basics
What is FiLot?
A calm companion for your physical gold and Solana DeFi. You chat in plain language and FiLot does the technical part: photograph your gold to build a living ledger with live profit and loss, ask anything about pools or tokens, and when you are ready, trade with one tap that you approve in your own wallet.
Do I need to understand crypto or DeFi first?
No. Ask in your own words, like "is my gold worth more than I paid?" or "what is a liquidity pool?". FiLot explains before it ever suggests a step, and nothing happens without your confirmation.
How much does it cost?
Everything is free during the beta, until 1 December 2026. After that, Lite stays free, and Pro and Max add unlimited scans, research-grade answers and more. No dollar is charged today.
Your money and safety
Does FiLot ever hold my money?
No, never. FiLot is non-custodial: your funds stay in your own wallet, and every transaction needs your signature there. If FiLot vanished tomorrow, your money would be exactly where it always was, with you.
What stops a bad or fake transaction?
Before you are ever asked to sign, FiLot simulates the transaction and checks exactly what would leave your wallet and the minimum you must receive. If anything looks off, it is blocked before your signature. There are also server-side checks and an emergency stop switch on our side.
Which wallets can I use?
Phantom and Solflare work out of the box, plus exchange Web3 wallets like Binance, OKX and Bybit on desktop. On mobile, FiLot hands the approval to your wallet app.
Is FiLot giving me financial advice?
No. FiLot is education and bookkeeping, not advice. It explains clearly, shows both sides, and you make every decision.
Gold
How does the gold photo scan work?
Snap a photo of your bar, invoice or certificate. FiLot reads the details, weight, purity, serial, price, and shows you everything to review. Nothing is saved until you confirm it. Photos are processed in memory and never stored.
Can FiLot verify my gold is genuine?
FiLot never claims to verify gold itself. For bars with an official checker, like PAMP with VeriScan, FiLot links you straight there and records the result you report, marked clearly as checked by you.
Does FiLot buy or sell physical gold?
No. FiLot is digital bookkeeping for gold you already own. If you want gold exposure on-chain, you can trade for PAXG (Pax Gold), a token backed by physical gold.
Plans and perks
What is the difference between Lite, Pro and Max?
Lite is free: gold ledger, chat, live pools and capped trading. Pro removes the caps and adds live researched answers with sources. Max adds research-grade reports and What-If scenario simulations. During the beta, everyone gets the full experience free.
What is $FILOT?
A small loyalty perk, a thank-you for being a member. It is not an investment and we never promise it is worth anything. There is exactly one official token address, published on our Perks page, so you can avoid fakes.
Privacy
What happens to my photos and data?
Photos are read in memory and never stored on our servers. Your records live in your account, protected so only you can read them. A few fraud-prevention signals, like a photo fingerprint, are kept internally to protect everyone from fakes. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Settings has a clear-all that removes your portfolio, gold ledger, history and chats. Your wallet is yours, so disconnecting it is one tap too.
